Last week, I resumed lifting weights. I love the energy that comes from building muscle and maintaining a healthy routine. I paused my workouts when Gina and I moved from an older house in Palm Beach Gardens to a new one just five minutes closer to the office. It took us about a month to unpack and get organized. To prepare for the gym, I began a simple daily calisthenics routine. I felt excited about establishing a new routine at the gym.

This experience reminds me of how we should approach estate planning and legal documents. They can feel burdensome and difficult to understand, not to mention the discomfort of confronting our own mortality. However, these challenges can be quickly addressed and overcome. The key is to start.

I created a simple guide on Estate Planning in Florida, which can also benefit clients in other states since most of the rules are similar. The guide covers the top six documents most people need in Florida and outlines important considerations for each one. Click here to download the guide.
